Our milk is a full cream milk, pasteurised and non-homogenised. It’s thick and creamy, smooth and luxurious. It’s the milk our parents and kaumātua drank.
AS FRESH AS IT GETS
What really sets us apart is just how fresh, and just how local, our milk is! When you get your milk from us, we guarantee you are getting milk made right here in Taupō.
Opepe Farm is only 12kms from our milk dispensary. It takes us less time to get our farm fresh milk to the dispensary than it takes for our cows to walk to the milking shed!
And at just $3.80 per litre you won’t be breaking the bank to give your whānau the freshest, most nutritious milk possible.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING AND HAPPY COWS
To do their best work and provide you with the healthiest, most nutrient dense milk possible, our gals and the land they graze, need a break at somestage. What that means is from approximately mid-June to mid-August our milk isn’t available as we give our cows the opportunity to head off to the sunny GC for a wee holiday while the grass grows.
Ok, so they don’t really jet-set off over the ditch, but they do get a nice break. Inline with our kaupapa, we try to respect our whenua and our animals, and nature says they’re not meant to milk all year round!
